Introducing Windows Agent and Other Enhancements to Windows 10 Device Management

We are more than excited to announce the launch of our very own MDM agent for Windows 10 device management. This release marks an important milestone for Scalefusion Windows 10 device management and is going to be incremental in supporting the IT teams to streamline the management of Windows 10 devices in the enterprise environment.

    Introducing Windows MDM Agent

For the past year, the Scalefusion team has amped up the features available for Windows 10 management, especially in the wake of the remote working era. With this release, we have also introduced other key features within the Windows MDM agent including:

    • Deployment of Powershell Scripts using Scalefusion
    • User Activity Data for Windows 10 devices

The Windows 10 Agent can help IT admins in performing additional tasks and operations that are not available with the Windows CSP. This comes in handy considering the growing need for Windows 10 remote desktop and laptop management ushered in by the pandemic.

With Windows MDM Agent, IT teams can:

    Deploy Powershell Scripts

Powershell Scripts are incremental in automating tasks and simplifying the device configuration within the Windows ecosystem. With this enhancement, IT teams will be able to push and execute Powershell Scripts on the managed Windows 10 devices via the Scalefusion dashboard. IT administrators can automate the end-to-end process of adding network drives, installing applications, pushing security software updates and granting new users access to shared files on managed Windows 10 devices.

    Collect device information

IT admins can track the device user information such as- the current logged in user and last logged-in user. This information will be available under the Devices section of the Scalefusion dashboard under the Full Device Information tab as User Info.

    Collect user activity data

IT admins can now collect the information around user login and logout. This will help the IT admins track the ScreenTime reports like user activity. This information will be available under the Reports and Workflows section of the Scalefusion dashboard.

The Windows MDM agent can be installed on the managed Windows 10 devices via the Scalefusion dashboard. The detailed help document for the same is available here. This enhancement is available for Windows 10 version 1809 and above, with Windows Pro, Business, Enterprise, Education editions.
