Scalefusion Remote Control eliminates the need to check the device issues physically or communicate device issues through email or phone calls. Once configured, IT administrators can troubleshoot issues with user devices, remotely, right from the Scalefusion Dashboard.

Why we built the Remote Control feature?

Scalefusion’s mission is to help organizations succeed in their move to Enterprise Mobility. With the launch of Remote Control, we believe our customers will not only be able to remotely manage/monitor/control their devices, but also troubleshoot the issues with the devices in real-time. A need to use different third-party applications for Android Remote Control is mitigated with the Scalefusion Remote Control feature.

    Benefits of Scalefusion Remote Control

Considering the fact, that in organizations, mobile devices given to the field, as well as, ground employees are in bulk, to manage them remotely, is not an easy task. Sometimes the may not function as expected, or some settings might have changed or an application uninstalled/removed, in such instances, it may not be possible for the remote employees to come down to the office and get it rectified.

But now, the limitation of accessibility is totally ruled out by Remote Control feature, as you will be able to see the screen of the device as if it is in front of you, from the Scalefusion Dashboard itself in real time.

    You will able to

    Remotely Control

    • Navigate the screen
    • Access applications as if the device is in your hands (Samsung, Sony & Lenovo Only)

    Share Screen

    • See what the end-user sees on their Android phone or tablet in real time, including apps, settings, and the device camera. (Android 5.0+ Lollipop)

Uninstall App and get System Information

    • View key system info, kill processes and uninstall apps on Android devices.
    • Viewable system information including OS version, memory, apps, and more.

    Remote Access of Unattended Devices

    • Control unattended Android devices being used as point-of-sale systems or kiosks.

Thus, this feature can ensure you a supervised and controlled mobility for your company.

In addition, with the help of Scalefusion Remote Control, you can provide real-time support or administer unattended devices for an e.g. Android Kiosks or Mounted Devices.

These benefits offer greater flexibility at the workplace, saves time, and facilitates remote support required from any location, irrespective of time.

How to support Android mobile devices remotely with Remote Cast & Control App?

Remote Cast and Control is an add-on feature of Scalefusion. The Scalefusion account owner sends a request for the access from the dashboard. Once the access for Remote Cast and Control is granted, the account owner will receive an email on registered email id. It is available in the trial period or if you are registered under the Enterprise Plan.

After the access is approved, Admin will be able to see Android devices which are v5.0 onwards for remote access. As of now, this feature is supported on Samsung, Sony devices (that supports Sony SDK) and select Lenovo devices, but soon it will extend to a large range of devices of other OEMs.

Further, Publish the Remote Cast app from the Enterprise Store onto the device.

Thereafter you can launch the Remote Cast feature on the selected device after the device user grants the permission.

For the screen sharing, Admin selects the device and starts the session from the Dashboard. Simultaneously, there will be a pop-up displayed on the device, which the device user okays it and subsequently, the screen sharing session starts.

Now, you can easily manage and control the device! You can click on any icon available on the virtual image(on the dashboard), and you will see the changes reflecting on the device too.

It takes amazing technology to facilitate this level of accessibility of the remote mobile devices! And it is our passion to innovate and come out with an improvised solution.
