    TurnPoint Services Success Story

Scalefusion’s Partner Perspective Podcast Series is a compilation of insights and invaluable experiences from our partner community on how Mobile Device and Endpoint Management is transforming industries across the globe.

In this episode, Steven Gohl, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Scalefusion, had a chat with Matt Horton, the Senior Director of Applied Technology at TurnPoint Services.

Matt gave us an insider’s perspective on how TurnPoint successfully streamlined device management across 60+ brands under their umbrella.

A key player in their strategy was Motus, a Scalefusion partner. Together, Motus and Scalefusion crafted a powerful solution that addressed TurnPoint’s device management challenges, leading to exceptional results.

Here are a few key takeaways from the discussion:

    Initial Approach

TurnPoint Services is an equipment (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) services company based in the US. It has a growing list of reputable service brands with decades of experience serving residential and commercial customers. The company has been expanding at a rapid pace, adding new brands every month through acquisitions.

However, due to the rapid business growth, TurnPoint required a solution to centralize and streamline device management across all its service brands.

Motus identified TurnPoint’s need for a robust device management strategy and suggested that Scalefusion implement a UEM solution focused on centralization, cost reduction, security, and operational efficiency.

Before implementing Scalefusion UEM, each brand under TurnPoint managed its devices individually. This led to security vulnerabilities, increased time to execute IT tasks, and decreased productivity.

By deploying Scalefusion, TurnPoint centralized its device management, effectively addressing security risks and streamlining operations. This resulted in improved overall device and data protection, management, and enhanced productivity across the organization.

    Implementation Strategy

The transition to Scalefusion involved meticulous planning and execution. TurnPoint aggregated data from 60 brands, identified unused data lines, and validated active devices. This thorough analysis, followed by a comprehensive implementation plan allowed them to efficiently deploy Scalefusion to over 7,000 devices within a remarkable 90-day timeframe.

    Users Loved It!

The feedback from users and business units was overwhelmingly positive. The centralized device management by Scalefusion UEM streamlined operations, improved security, and provided significant cost savings.

TurnPoint saved approximately $2.4 million in the first year, with ongoing annual savings of around $1.1 million.

    Bringing It All Together

The Motus team thoroughly understood the scope of TurnPoint’s transition and maintained constant communication with all stakeholders. They provided dedicated support through Scalefusion, which was crucial in achieving a seamless rollout and ensuring effective device management for TurnPoint.

A huge shoutout to Matt Horton and Chuck Serapilio for taking part in this discussion.
