Most vendor review pages show you a handful of the good ones. This one shows you all of it.

Scalefusion has 404 verified reviews on G2, rated 4.7 out of 5 as of 13 August 2026. Below is what those reviews collectively say — the full rating spread including the one-star reviews, what reviewers consistently praise, what they consistently criticise, and which kinds of organisation the platform actually suits.

We wrote this, so read it with that in mind. Every number comes from G2, every quote links back to the original, and the platforms where you can read the reviews without us in the middle are linked at the end.

Three one-star reviews out of 404 is not nothing, and the rest of this page takes the criticism in them seriously rather than rounding it away.

What reviewers consistently praise

Enrollment that does not require touching each device

“the agent that needs to be installed on all the devices is super easy to set up. We just need to visit the URL, enter the code, and the device automatically gets enrolled, which makes onboarding really simple, especially when dealing with a lot of devices.”

Verified G2 review (G2 invitation; nominal gift card)

One console instead of several tools

“Scalefusion is combining UEM & IdP into a single product which helps me cut the IT stack and overall costs.”

Verified G2 review, higher education

The same reviewer describes the problem it replaced: devices spread across university domains with no central visibility, and admins maintaining systems by hand.

Consistent policy across many sites

“We use iPads across 50+ retail stores mostly for product demos, customer checkouts, and stock lookups. Before Scalefusion, it was tough to keep things organized. Now, with kiosk mode and app restriction settings, we can make sure the iPads only run approved apps.”

Verified G2 review, retail

The same reviewer describes the operational payoff: every store’s devices follow the same policy, and a lost or broken device can be locked or wiped remotely.

People, named

Support appears in the praise column as often as the criticism column, and reviewers name individuals. That is unusual, and it says something specific: when you reach a person, the experience is good. The recurring complaint is how long that takes, which is covered further down.

“they have consistently provided effective solutions to our challenges and offered exceptional support. We are particularly impressed by their competitive pricing and their consistent availability.”

Who is actually reviewing Scalefusion

Aggregate scores mean little without knowing who produced them.

By company size

SegmentReviewsShare
Mid-Market (51–1,000 employees)19748.8%
Small Business (≤50)17844.1%
Enterprise (>1,000)256.2%

Read that honestly: Scalefusion’s review base is overwhelmingly mid-market and small business. Nearly 93% of reviews come from organisations under 1,000 employees. If you are evaluating for a 5,000-seat rollout, there are 25 reviews from organisations at your scale — worth reading specifically rather than relying on the overall 4.7.

By role — 300 of the reviews come from Administrators, 57 from end users, 31 from consultants. This is feedback from the people who run the fleet daily.

By industry — the largest clusters are Computer Software (38), Information Technology and Services (31), Logistics & Transportation (42 across Transportation/Trucking/Railroad and Logistics and Supply Chain), Healthcare (22), Retail (13) and Education (11).

By region — North America 134, Europe 110, Asia 87, Africa 21, Middle East 18, ANZ 16, Latin America 9.

What reviewers criticise

This is the section most vendor pages skip. It is also the one prospective buyers tend to read most carefully, so it is here in full rather than softened.

Five themes recur across the lower-rated reviews and the “what do you dislike” field of the positive ones. One point matters more than the themes themselves: most of this criticism comes from people who rated Scalefusion four or five stars. They like the product and still want these fixed.

1. The console has depth, and finding a specific setting takes time

“A few settings feel buried in the dashboard, especially when we are updating multiple profiles. Once you get the hang of it, it’s fine but the first few times were a little confusing.”

Verified G2 review, 4 stars, retail, 50+ stores

This is the most common criticism from otherwise satisfied reviewers, and it comes in two forms. One is discoverability — settings exist but are not where you expect. The other is scope: reviewers running narrow deployments describe more capability than they need. If your requirement is “lock three tablets to one app”, a platform built for mixed fleets across several operating systems will feel larger than the job.

Neither is a defect so much as a consequence of breadth. Worth knowing before a trial, so you spend the first hour with a map rather than looking for one.

2. Some capabilities are gated behind higher licence tiers

“there are some features which are not actually given in all types of licenses, particularly around the compliance.”

Verified G2 review, 5 stars, May 2026 (review submitted following a G2 invitation; the reviewer received a nominal gift card)

Tier-gating is normal in this category. The fair criticism is when it is not obvious during evaluation which tier contains what.

Where this stands now. Scalefusion publishes a full feature matrix across its four plans — Essentials, Growth, Business and Enterprise — on the plan comparison page. Compliance capabilities do differ by tier, so check the matrix against your requirements before trialling rather than after.

3. Support response time, not support quality

This is the most interesting pattern in the dataset, because support is simultaneously the most praised and the most criticised thing about Scalefusion.

Reviewers name individual support staff in five-star reviews. The complaints are almost never about competence — they are about how long a reply takes, and time-zone overlap.

“Remote session initiate taking too long time.”

Verified G2 review, 2.5 stars, July 2026

The same reviewer opened with praise for a support agent who resolved their issue on a call.

Where this stands now. Scalefusion publishes first-response targets of under 4 minutes for live chat and under 30 minutes for email tickets (support).

Support is also staffed by region rather than to a single timetable, with overlapping shifts covering US and European working hours. A ticket raised in Chicago or Berlin is picked up by someone whose own working day is already underway, not queued until the next morning somewhere else.

That is worth stating explicitly, because time-zone overlap is the thing reviewers describing long waits are usually describing. If your team works outside standard business hours in any region, ask during the trial how your specific window is covered — that is a better test than an average response time.

4. Gaps reviewers name directly

“Lack of full fledged DPDP and inbuilt ITSM and some more integrations.”

Verified G2 review, 5 stars, higher education

Both are worth raising directly during evaluation. If built-in ITSM or DPDP-specific compliance tooling is a hard requirement for you, confirm what is supported today before trialling rather than assuming it is covered. This page does not make roadmap promises.

5. Older Android devices

“We experienced some limitations with certain older Android devices due to differences in Android versions, which affected overall performance and compatibility.”

Verified G2 review, 5 stars, France

Android fragmentation affects every MDM vendor. What matters to a buyer with a legacy fleet is which OS versions are supported and what degrades on older ones.

Where Scalefusion fits, and where it does not

Based on what the review base shows rather than on positioning:

Strong fit

  • Mid-market organisations, 51–1,000 employees — the largest and most satisfied group
  • Logistics & Transportation and Healthcare — the deepest industry clusters after IT itself
  • Mixed fleets across Android, iOS, macOS and Windows where the alternative is several tools
  • Teams consolidating device management with identity and endpoint security rather than buying each separately
  • Deployments where devices are remote and rarely touched by IT

Consider carefully

  • Very large enterprise rollouts — only 25 reviews come from organisations above 1,000 employees. Ask for references at your scale
  • Single-purpose deployments of a handful of devices, where the platform’s breadth is overhead
  • Fleets with a substantial legacy Android estate — confirm OS support before committing
  • Organisations needing built-in ITSM or DPDP-specific compliance tooling — confirm what is supported today before committing
  • Teams working well outside US, European or Indian business hours — coverage is regional, so check your own window

Read the reviews without us in the middle

We selected the quotes above, so go and check them.

  • G2 — 404 reviews, the largest and most current set
  • Capterra — note the profile still carries the MobiLock URL from before the rename
  • PeerSpot — detailed long-form reviews from enterprise practitioners
  • Reddit r/sysadmin — unmoderated and often blunt

What buyers usually compare Scalefusion against

Reviewers and buyers most often evaluate Scalefusion alongside Microsoft Intune, Jamf, Hexnode and SOTI MobiControl. Which is right depends on the fleet:

  • Apple-only estates — Jamf and Mosyle are built specifically for Apple, and a specialist may suit better than a cross-platform platform
  • Microsoft-centric organisations already paying for Intune — the honest question is whether an additional tool earns its cost, or whether the gap is Android and rugged device support
  • Mixed fleets across several operating systems — this is where Scalefusion’s review base is concentrated
  • Rugged and frontline deployments — check reviews from Logistics & Transportation specifically

Comparison pages, ours included, are written by vendors. Read the reviews on the platforms above before trusting any of them, including this one.

FAQs

1. Is Scalefusion good?

G2 rates it 4.7 out of 5 from 404 verified reviews as of 13 August 2026, with 82.9% rating it five stars. The most common criticisms are console navigability, support response times, and features gated to higher licence tiers.

2. What are Scalefusion’s limitations?

The recurring ones in verified reviews: settings can be hard to locate in a console built for broad use cases; support response depends on time-zone overlap; some compliance capabilities are restricted to higher licence tiers; there is no built-in ITSM; and compatibility is reduced on older Android versions.

3. How many reviews does Scalefusion have?

404 on G2 as of 13 August 2026. It also holds profiles on Capterra, PeerSpot and TrustRadius.

4. What size of company uses Scalefusion?

Mostly mid-market and small business. 48.8% of G2 reviews come from organisations of 51–1,000 employees and 44.1% from those under 50. Only 6.2% come from organisations above 1,000.

5. Which industries use Scalefusion most?

After software and IT services, the largest review clusters are Logistics & Transportation, Healthcare, Retail and Education.

6. Is Scalefusion better than Hexnode or Intune?

It depends on your fleet, and any vendor answering that question about itself is not a neutral source. Read the reviews on G2, Capterra and PeerSpot, then trial the shortlist.

See whether it holds up on your own devices. Scalefusion offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required to sign up, so enrol a handful of devices and test the parts reviewers actually flag — how quickly you find the settings you need, how fast support answers in your time zone, and how it behaves on your own OS mix.
