We are excited to announce the launch of File Sync. With the addition of this feature, IT admins can sync files and folders of managed devices on their dashboards, downloads files from the device folder and upload files to the device folder.
File sharing simplified with Scalefusion File Sync!
While publishing content on managed devices is facilitated by Content Management in Scalefusion, File Sync feature enables file exchange between individual devices and the dashboard. At the same time, Admins can monitor the device folder, download any file from the device and also upload files to specific folders, silently on managed devices. User permission is not necessary to upload or download files using File Sync.
File Sync is available within the Remote Cast and Control for Android devices enrolled into Scalefusion MDM. File Sync is available only for accounts that have enabled Remote Cast and Control feature. The managed devices need to have a minimum of 3.4.2 version of the Remote Cast App by Scalefusion.
To effectively manage devices folder, download or upload files from managed devices, IT admins can navigate to the Remote Cast and Control section of the Scalefusion dashboard. They can choose from the available device inventory and start a casting session. While the session is in progress, Admins can view the device folders and download any file from the device to the admin computer. IT admins can also upload a specific file of any format, with file size up to 150 MB to any of the device folders.
Using File Sync, IT admins can gather specific resources and documents from managed devices and also publish specific files on select devices, without impacting the other devices in the inventory. File Sync paves way for effective content management on devices managed with Scalefusion MDM.
