    Introducing AMAPI BYO on Scalefusion

At Scalefusion, we aspire to alleviate the day-to-day struggles of IT administrators. More often than not, the pain points of IT admins begin at the very start of their device management endeavor, at enrollment.

Device enrollment, especially for BYO (bring your own) or employee-owned devices is heavily dependent on employee intent and proactiveness as well as the simplicity of onboarding extended by the MDM platform.

We are excited to announce that we have now made the device enrollment process for Android BYO devices simpler than ever.

Simplify Enrollment with Android Management API (AMAPI) based BYOD

On what we term a truly agentless enrollment, enterprise IT teams can now bring Android BYO devices under management faster than before.

Android Enterprise empowers seamless integration of Android devices and applications into the workplace, ensuring a clear separation of corporate and personal data to maintain security as well as employee privacy. With AMAPI-based BYOD management on Scalefusion, the management of devices is completely driven by Android.

This enrollment method is currently available for Android OS version 8.0 and up, and your account’s Android Enterprise setup needs to be done with Android Device Manager. Users can then be added using the user enrollment process as usual.

You can read about the step-by-step process for the same here.

AMAPI-based BYOD enrollment requires minimum IT action and employee intervention and is a seamless approach to getting started with employee-owned device management.

As an Android Enterprise Silver Partner, we are excited to unfold a brand new set of features for Android device management at Scalefusion.

To enable AMAPI for your account, contact your Scalefusion account manager. We are eager for you to try AMAPI-based BYOD enrollment for your Android device fleet.

Our commitment to improving usability drives us to value and welcome feedback and suggestions from our valued customers. Your input is essential in shaping our solutions to best meet your needs. You can reach out to us at support[at]scalefusion[.]com.
