Ever had one of those mornings where you’re frantically hopping between apps, email, project boards, chat tools—only to realize you can’t remember half your passwords? You reset one, log in to another, and before you know it, you’ve lost 20 minutes just trying to start your day.
Sound familiar? It’s a headache that employees and IT teams deal with every single day—and it’s not just frustrating, it’s risky too.

Eliminate all your concerns and security leaks with Scalefusion’s OneIdP User Portal.
The User Portal simplifies everything by letting users access all their assigned apps with just one secure login. OneIdP User Portal, where you sign into a central portal and pick the app you need, OneIdP makes the whole process smooth, secure, and stress-free.
This easy-to-follow guide will help you set up and use the OneIdP User Portal.
What is the OneIdP user portal?
The OneIdP User Portal is a centralized dashboard designed to simplify and secure application access for users. Instead of launching applications separately and logging into each one individually, users can log in once using their directory credentials (like Google Workspace or Azure AD) and access all assigned applications with a single click, no repeated sign-ins required.
This experience follows the IdP-Initiated Single Sign-On (SSO) model, where authentication begins at the Identity Provider. Users log into the portal first and then select the applications they need, which are launched securely without prompting for additional credentials.
Benefits of the OneIdP user portal
- Centralized Access
Users can see and launch all authorized applications from one unified dashboard, removing the need to visit each application separately. - User Convenience
A single login session grants access to multiple applications, reducing password fatigue and improving productivity. - Enhanced Security
Credentials are never stored or re-entered on individual apps, reducing the risk of phishing, credential theft, and user error. - No Need to Visit the Application First
Unlike Service Provider (SP)Initiated SSO, users don’t have to start at the service provider (application); instead, they log in once through the portal and select what they need. - Custom Launch Portals
Organizations can customize the user portal to reflect their branding and configure access based on roles, departments, or other policies for a tailored experience.
How to assign apps for the OneIdP user portal
Before users can enjoy the seamless SSO experience, IT administrators need to configure the apps on the backend.
- Accessing SSO Configuration: Navigate to SSO Configurations, select the desired configuration by clicking the three dots (⋮).
- Next, go to Edit > SSO Settings. In the Service Provider Settings tab, input the Service Provider Entity ID and ACS URL for each SSO application that should be visible in the portal.
- Source of Information: The Service Provider Entity ID and ACS URL are available from the service provider’s end and must be added to the appropriate settings before saving your configurations.
4. Next, navigate to User Portal settings, toggle on ‘Make this app visible in the user portal’, add your App Shortcuts, and then save the configuration.
Configuration settings for the user portal setup
- Portal URL: This is your starting point to configure the User Portal for IdP-initiated login. On your Scalefusion Dashboard, navigate to OneIdP > User Portal. This will enable and give you access to the URL, which redirects you to your User Portal.
2. Branding: Allows you to customize your sign-in page and dashboard with an organization logo, background wallpaper, login hints, support email, a clickable privacy policy, and removal of Scalefusion branding.
3. User Dashboard: Apps with the ‘Make this app visible in the user portal’ toggle enabled in the SSO Configuration will appear on the User Dashboard. The admin can use drag-and-drop to arrange the application icons in the desired sequence, defining their order on the User Portal.
4. Access Settings: Establish policies for User Portal access via Scalefusion-managed devices, or enable requiring OTP from the OneIdP authenticator app or a third-party authenticator if devices are unmanaged.
5. General settings: Session management allows you to set a timeout duration for the User Portal, automatically logging users out after a specified period of inactivity, with configurable limits between 1 and 60 minutes.
