Introducing User Management for Windows & Mac

At Scalefusion, we live by the code of addressing the device management challenges of IT admins. Constant updates and addition to our features have been at the epicenter of our efforts. With this new feature, our focus was to drop the hassles IT admins encounter when adding and managing multiple user accounts to Windows and Mac desktops and laptops.

IT admins had to manually access individual Windows and Mac devices to add, remove, and manage user accounts. Much to the delight of our customers, that’s no longer required.

We are excited to introduce yet another exquisite user management feature for Windows and Mac.

User Accounts Now at Your Fingertips

IT admins would be thrilled to know that they can now manage user accounts right from the Scalefusion dashboard. All they need to do is go to the ‘Devices’ section and select the enrolled Windows or Mac device. By clicking ‘View Details’ on the particular section, IT admins can now access an all-new tab of ‘User Accounts’.

The ‘User Accounts’ section is as simple as it gets. Just click ‘Add User’ and see the magic of remote device management go a notch higher. You can use this new feature on our dashboard to:

    • Add multiple users on managed Windows and Mac devices
    • Create a password for every new user
    • Select the type of user with options of ‘Admin’ and ‘Standard’
    • Reset passwords
    • Delete users

As soon as the device has Internet access, the user account gets silently updated. Thus, IT admins only need to share the credentials with the new users for them to log in to their designated devices. No more visiting every individual workstation and laboriously adding users and generating passwords. All that is now possible at your fingertips from the Scalefusion dashboard.

We at Scalefusion are committed to creating a seamless world of device management for IT admins. This new feature of user management on Windows and Mac devices isn’t the first and definitely won’t be our last step toward that commitment.

We would love our customers to try out this new feature, and all your suggestions and feedback are most welcome. That’s what keeps us going! So do reach out to us at [email protected].
