[Infographic] ELD Mandate: Things You Must Know

FMCSA’s (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) ELD rule became law on 16th Feb 2016 and made it mandatory for all the commercial motor vehicles operators to become fully compliant with the ELD mandate by 16th Dec 2019.

As the deadline is approaching, companies are now facing the need to choose an electronic logging device with which they can record data related to the operation of the vehicle and driver activity. While moving away from AOBRD system, companies must carefully consider multiple ELD options available against its cost and usability.

Mobile ELD is gaining popularity because of its low cost, relative simplicity, and ease of installation and operation. Even a lot of fixed or onboard ELD users are shifting to mobile ELD. But while using mobiles to record HOS, companies must ensure that these devices are managed, and corporate data is secured.

Check out this infographic to know how you can get complied with the ELD mandate before the deadline using the most simple and cost-effective way.
