    AI Settings on Windows

As enterprises integrate AI-driven functionalities for operational efficiency, they tread carefully due to potential security risks. AI implementations can introduce vulnerabilities like data breaches and algorithmic biases, necessitating meticulous security protocols. Despite security concerns, the indispensability of AI for modern operations makes its careful integration imperative in enterprise settings

This is why, we’re excited to announce our latest update, empowering IT teams with enhanced control over AI settings on Windows devices and the ability to manage Microsoft Edge sidebar features seamlessly.

    Configuring AI settings on Windows

AI features in Windows, such as predictive maintenance and intelligent task automation, can significantly enhance user productivity and operational efficiency. However, these advancements may also introduce considerations around data privacy and security.

To address this, Scalefusion now supports comprehensive AI settings management for Windows devices.

IT teams can selectively enable or disable AI capabilities based on organizational needs. This granular control ensures that AI benefits are harnessed while mitigating potential risks associated with data privacy and security.

For all existing Windows device profiles available on the Salefusion dashboard, these settings can be configured under the restrictions tab. For all new Windows profiles that are created on the dashboard, these settings are disabled by default.

AI-driven features can streamline operations by automating repetitive tasks and offering personalized recommendations. IT administrators can evaluate their organization’s specific use cases and regulatory requirements and decide how to configure AI settings.

By leveraging Scalefusion’s Windows AI settings, IT teams can optimize device performance while maintaining robust security protocols.

    Microsoft Edge Sidebar Control

The Microsoft Edge Sidebar control can be configured for all existing profiles. These settings are disabled by default for all the new Windows device profiles.

Hence, we have now introduced policy controls for managing Microsoft Edge sidebar functionalities on Windows devices. IT admins can now disable the entire sidebar, including features like Copilot, to align with organizational security and productivity policies.

These enhancements underscore our commitment to delivering robust device management solutions that adapt to evolving IT environments. Whether securing AI settings or managing browser features, Scalefusion continues to empower IT teams with tools that enhance operational efficiency and security.

We are thrilled about these new capabilities and remain dedicated to improving our services based on your feedback. Share your thoughts and suggestions with us at [email protected] as we strive to deliver unparalleled device management solutions.
